Fun
Okay, so I didn’t get a new tablet for Christmas, however, I did get an external hardrive for all of my pictures, PSD files, music, games, and other useless stuff that takes up too much space on my computer. The next big thing, but not before I replace my tablet, would be replacing my old desktop with a new one; apparently I can’t seem to complete program specific tasks because my trustee computer can’t comprehend enough ones and zeros to get the job done. It’ll have to do for now.
I hope everyone’s had a great time during the holidays. I spent my time with my family which resulted in a backup of my work, so now I’m trying to play catch-up. I’m behind on so much I don’t know how I’m going to get up to speed! Oh the luxury of adulthood…
Anyway, I think that’s all for now. I don’t blog much but hopefully that changes later on down the road; I’m still kinda new to the whole blogging idea.
Some Graphic Design stuff:
History…
No, not the subject itself… I actually don’t like history. This is actually more of a ‘how I became part of the Revelation Interactive team’ thing. If I recall correctly, it was around the same time I graduated to get my associates in Graphic Design & Multimedia from Westwood College. I got a call from Will Morgan (who does EXCELLENT photography, BTW), which at the time I was at a friend’s house playing Super Smash Bros Brawl, and he told me that he met up with my mom in a museum here in Houston and how she, I guess, bragged about my work as a 2D artist. He took a look at my work, liked it, asked if I was interested in joining the team and I accepted. The crew is small but everyone is VERY talented. I’m a 2D artist for now but with time I will become as good a 3D modeler as Sean Bellinger and Larry Hendrix, if not better. And I can’t forget about Dennis Mathews… who is a genius at code and stuff. Amazing people really… and I still don’t think I’m good enough! I’ll get there, however!
Oh, there was this meeting, After Effects and 3D, here in Houston that I attended a few weeks back. Some AMAZING work was displayed by Theodore Horrocks. He showed us his demo reel and spoke with us about the many projects he’s worked on from companies like HP and stuff! An absolute pleasure! I hope to attend the next meeting coming up but with work being an evening thing… it doesn’t look like I’ll be attending.
I did say I was going to post some of my work up so I won’t keep that any longer.

Greetings!
My first blog post! What a fantastic feeling this is! ;D Let’s start this off by introducing myself. I think I’d feel more comfortable posting a little info about myself in a list fashion.
Name: Tristion Edison
DOB: 08/04/1987
Location: Houston TX
Work: Revelation Interactive as a Game Artist and Chick-fil-A as a team member.
Free Time: Playing games and searching different things.
Likes: Drawing, customizing, games, learning about creative things, Anime, arguing (good ones, anyway), helping people (it really depends on the person), sweet potato pie and cheesecake! ;D
Dislikes: Liars, being upset, people with attitude problems, tomatoes, sour cream, watermelon/melon/related, strawberries (love it as a flavoring), and dark chocolate.
Favorite Games: Tetris Attack (Pokemon Puzzle League more), Tetris (in any form), Super Smash Bros. 64, Killer Instinct, Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2, Tekken 2, 3, and 5 (haven’t played 6), BlazBlue (EPIC), Guilty Gear x2 (in any version, also epic), Halo 2 & 3 (ASDF), and Super Mario Bros. All Stars + World.
In addition, I’m not really a racer type… gamer… person… nor FPS… nor RTS. The only racing game that I’ve played and fell in love with is Speed Punks for PS. The only FPS game that I played and fell in love with is Halo 2 & 3. Didn’t really care for Halo 1.
And that’s me! I think that’s more than enough information to disclose. :}
Oh and I do have deviantART accouts here: Tsuxiau and InkJuse
I mainly use my Tsuxiau account but my InkJuse is used really for other stuff.
I’ll be sure to post some work here as well! :}
