History…
No, not the subject itself… I actually don’t like history. This is actually more of a ‘how I became part of the Revelation Interactive team’ thing. If I recall correctly, it was around the same time I graduated to get my associates in Graphic Design & Multimedia from Westwood College. I got a call from Will Morgan (who does EXCELLENT photography, BTW), which at the time I was at a friend’s house playing Super Smash Bros Brawl, and he told me that he met up with my mom in a museum here in Houston and how she, I guess, bragged about my work as a 2D artist. He took a look at my work, liked it, asked if I was interested in joining the team and I accepted. The crew is small but everyone is VERY talented. I’m a 2D artist for now but with time I will become as good a 3D modeler as Sean Bellinger and Larry Hendrix, if not better. And I can’t forget about Dennis Mathews… who is a genius at code and stuff. Amazing people really… and I still don’t think I’m good enough! I’ll get there, however!
Oh, there was this meeting, After Effects and 3D, here in Houston that I attended a few weeks back. Some AMAZING work was displayed by Theodore Horrocks. He showed us his demo reel and spoke with us about the many projects he’s worked on from companies like HP and stuff! An absolute pleasure! I hope to attend the next meeting coming up but with work being an evening thing… it doesn’t look like I’ll be attending.
I did say I was going to post some of my work up so I won’t keep that any longer.
